Is your weight in a healthy range
Height and weight, and one number telling you which band you sit in. It is the fastest check there is, and the roughest - it cannot tell muscle from fat, so a fit person often reads as overweight.
How many calories you need a day
The number everything else is built on. It works out what your body burns just staying alive, adds what you do all day, and gives you three targets - lose, hold or gain.
How to split protein, carbs and fat
Once you know your calories, this splits them into protein, carbs and fat in grams. Protein is set from your body weight, not from a percentage, which is what most calculators get wrong.
Your one rep max, without testing it
The heaviest you could lift once, worked out from a weight you can already lift several times. Safer than actually trying it, and it gives you the percentages to train with.
Your body fat percentage
A tape measure and the US Navy formula. Far more useful than BMI, because it separates fat from everything else - two people at the same weight can be twelve percent apart here.
How much protein you need daily
How much protein you actually need, from your weight and how hard you train. It also shows what that looks like in real food - dal, curd, paneer, eggs - not in scoops of powder.
How much water to drink each day
Three litres is the number everybody repeats, and it is wrong for most people. This works yours out from your weight, how much you train and how hot it is where you live.
The right weight for your height
A sensible weight range for your height, using four formulas at once rather than one. It gives a range on purpose - a single number would be a lie, because frames differ.
Calories burned by any activity
What an activity actually costs you. Walking, running, cycling, skipping, housework - pick one, put in the minutes, and see the real figure rather than what a fitness band guesses.
Count a day in rotis and katoris
Build a full day of Indian food and see the calories and protein add up as you go. Measured in rotis, katoris and pieces - not cups and ounces, which is the reason most people here stop tracking within a week.
What time to go to bed tonight
Sleep runs in cycles of about 90 minutes, and waking in the middle of one is what makes eight hours feel like four. Tell it when you have to be up and it gives you the times to fall asleep by.
A better health check than BMI
Divide your waist by your height. It spots the fat that sits around your organs, which is the kind that matters - and unlike BMI it does not call a muscular person overweight. One tape measure, one number.
When will you reach your target weight
The question behind every diet - how long is this going to take. Put in where you are and where you want to be, and get a real date, the weekly rate it needs, and a straight answer about whether that rate is sensible.
What your daily step count is worth
Your phone counts the steps and tells you nothing about what they mean. This turns them into calories and kilometres using your own weight and height, because a 90 kg person burns far more over the same distance than a 55 kg one.
What to load for any rep range
The 1RM calculator works out your one rep max. This does the opposite, and it is the half you actually use in the gym - one max lift turned into the weight to put on the bar for 3, 5, 8 or 12 reps.
A calculator tells you where you stand. It cannot tell you what to do on Tuesday. That part is a workout plan and a diet plan - and both of those are free here too.
